After almost 40 years, the Interamerican Scout Conference, the highest governance body in the Region, returns to the Caribbean. This time to be hosted by Scouting Antiano in Curaçao. In accordance with the provisions of article 6, letter a) of the Constitution of the Interamerican Scout Region, each Member Organisation of the World Organization of the Scout Movement, that is part of the Interamerican Scout Region, can authorise up to a maximum of 6 Delegates, making sure to include young people between 18 and 30 years old.
This step must be completed by the International Commissioner or an official contact.
Once the delegation from each Member Organisation has been confirmed, each participant will receive an individual email to complete:
All NSOs are encouraged to carefully consider the composition of their delegation, ensuring it reflects the diversity of the Movement in their country in terms of gender, age, and cultural representation. Following the Conference Rules of Procedure, NSOs are also encouraged to ensure that at least one-third of their delegates are young people under the age of thirty (30) and that there is gender balance.
If you have any questions or need assistance during registration, contact Laura Delgado from the World Scout Bureau, Interamerica Support Centre, at [email protected].
Registration Deadline
The individual registration and payment period closes on September 15, 2025.
Changes in Delegation Participants
Any changes in the delegation must be communicated by email before the registration deadline on September 15, 2025.
Networking, partnerships, and the future of Scouting in the region are waiting for you.
Accommodation: Details and prices for staying at the venue hotel and alternative hotels in Curaçao are available on this page.
The fee for delegates and observers can be paid using any of the following methods:
Each delegation is responsible for verifying visa requirements to enter Curaçao. You can check this with your travel agency, transportation companies, or by visiting this website. We recommend that all participants check the validity of their passports and the necessary documentation in advance, as visa applications usually need to be submitted at least one month in advance.
If an invitation letter is required to process the entry visa(s) to Curaçao, it must be requested in advance by emailing [email protected], attaching a scanned image(s) of the passport(s).
Each delegation must also verify if any vaccinations are required to enter Curaçao. Visitors aged 9 months or older arriving from areas at risk of yellow fever must present a valid vaccination certificate.
Some exemptions exist for specific regions within high-risk countries; however, at border control points, the assessment is done at the country level, not by particular areas. We recommend reviewing this aspect in advance to avoid any inconveniences.
