After almost 40 years, the Interamerican Scout Conference, the highest governance body in the Region, returns to the Caribbean. This time to be hosted by Scouting Antiano in Curaçao. In accordance with the provisions of article 6, letter a) of the Constitution of the Interamerican Scout Region, each Member Organisation of the World Organization of the Scout Movement, that is part of the Interamerican Scout Region, can authorise up to a maximum of 6 Delegates, making sure to include young people between 18 and 30 years old.

Regional Scout Events
Regional Scout events are hosted by a Member Organization or alliance of Member Organizations (“the Host”) on behalf of the Interamerican Region of the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM). All Member Organizations in good standing with WOSM can extend invitations to the Conference in a bid to host a particular Regional Scout event. We are pleased to share the list of Member Organizations bidding to host future Interamerican Regional Scout events.
The Interamerican Regional Scout Conference is the governing body of the Scout Movement in the Interamerican Region.
Held every three years, the Conference provides Member Organisations with the opportunity to actively contribute to defining the priorities, policies, and shared objectives of Scouting across the region.

18th Interamerican Scout Jamboree and 5th Interamerican Scout Camporee (2029)
The Interamerican JamCam is held every four years in a different country within the Region. It is the largest event regularly organised by Interamerica, bringing together up to 10,000 participants from across the Region and other parts of the world. Above all, it is an educational experience that promotes peace, understanding, and global citizenship.
The programme includes a variety of activities designed to develop skills, discover other cultures, and build lasting friendships in a unique camp setting.
Young people aged 11 to 14 can take part in the Camporee, while those aged 15 to 17 participate in the Jamboree. Those aged 18 and over may join the International Service Team (IST).

The Interamerican Scout Moot is held periodically in different countries across the Region. It is an event aimed at young adults in the Scout Movement, traditionally known as Rovers, and brings together up to 2,000 participants. The Moot offers an educational experience designed to strengthen leadership, social engagement, and active citizenship.
Through community service activities, spaces for dialogue, and international fellowship, participants explore issues relevant to their generation and build networks of friendship and collaboration.
Young people aged 18 to 25 may participate. Those aged 26 and over can join the International Service Team (IST).
