This section will be updated as new official circulars and documents are released.

Procedures and participation

Until when can a NSO nominate someone as a candidate for the Interamerican Scout Committee or as a Youth Advisor?

According to, Circular 10 National Scout Organizations may nominate candidates for the Interamerican Scout Committee until 30 September 2025. Nominations must include all required documents and be submitted by email in PDF format, following the guidelines provided in the same Circular.

Yes. The “Safe from Harm for the Interamerican Scout Conference” course contains specific content for safe environments during the Conference. Therefore, all participants must complete the “Safe from Harm” learning pathway and submit their certificate as part of the individual registration process. Yes. Some sessions will be available for virtual participation, both for delegates and observers. Details about this modality will be shared soon.

Fees and payments

Can I pay for X places even if I don’t yet know who will attend?

Yes. NSOs may pay for the places they intend to use without having defined the names of the participants.

Your registration for the Interamerican Scout Conference not only grants you access to the event—it offers a complete experience! The participation fee includes:

  • Lunches and coffee breaks from 30 October to 2 November
  • Standing dinner during the “Night of the Americas” (31 October)
  • Closing dinner (2 November)
  • Transport to and from Curaçao International Airport (CUR)
  • Access to official sessions, working materials and stationery
  • Participant kit
  • Simultaneous interpretation

Logistics and accommodation

Is accommodation included in the fee?

No. Accommodation is not included. The official venue is the Curaçao Marriott Beach Resort, and special rates have been negotiated. Alternative accommodation options on the island are also available. Details and costs for accommodation at the official hotel and other alternatives in Curaçao are available on the event website.
