The Credentials Committee is responsible for verifying the official registration and accreditation of all delegates, observers, and guests attending the Regional Conference, with support from the Regional Office. It ensures that each Member Organization is properly represented, confirms voting rights, and reports on quorum. The Credentials Committee also helps resolve any accreditation issues and supports a smooth and transparent registration process for all participants.
The Resolutions Committee supports Member Organizations and the Regional Committee in reviewing and processing draft resolutions, amendments, and emergency resolutions for the Regional Conference. It ensures that all proposals follow established guidelines, offers technical and language support, and consolidates similar proposals. The Resolutions Committee also facilitates discussion and voting during plenary sessions and prepares official documentation of resolutions. It plays a key role in ensuring a smooth, transparent, and orderly decision-making process at the Conference.
The Tellers are responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and transparency of the voting process at the Regional Conference. With the support of the Regional Office, they supervise elections, count and verify votes, and officially report results to the Regional Conference Chairperson. Their role is essential for maintaining trust in the decision-making process by ensuring that votes are recorded and counted fairly, impartially, and in accordance with the Rules of Procedure.
