The Interamerican Scout Conference is the most important event of the Scout Movement in our region. This year, from 30 October to 2 November, Curaçao will be the epicentre where delegations from across Interamerica will gather to define the direction of the Movement, strengthen strategic partnerships, and celebrate our diversity.
Being present is not just an option—it’s a strategic opportunity. Here are three key reasons why your delegation should be physically in Curaçao:
1. The best decisions are made in the corridors
Beyond the official sessions, the informal moments between activities are where the most transformative ideas emerge. Spontaneous conversations allow agreements to be built, experiences to be shared, and solutions to be generated that directly impact our organisations.
2. Real networking happens face-to-face.
Connecting in person with leaders and volunteers from across the region helps build authentic and lasting bonds. The relationships formed in this setting enrich both local and regional work and open doors to cross-border collaborations such as regional projects, support networks, and partnerships that have strengthened the Scout Movement in the region.
3. Shared learning and celebration of Scout brotherhood
The Interamerican Scout Conference is not only a working space—it’s also a unique opportunity to celebrate what unites us as a Scout Movement across the Americas and the Caribbean. Attending in person allows for moments of collective learning, sharing of good practices, and recognition of our organisations’ achievements in a spirit of fraternity. It is in these gatherings that our sense of belonging is strengthened, our commitment to our values is renewed, and the diversity that enriches our region is celebrated.
Have you registered your delegation yet? Registration closes on 30 August. Don’t miss out!
